Joseph Webb Nash
 Joseph Webb Nash was born July 22, 1865 in Brooklyn, NY, of American parents.  He married Mathilde Margaret Gunther about 1891 and they had three daughters, Mildred, Florence and Dorothy.  Joseph Webb Nash was associated for 42 years with Black Starr & Frost, a New York jewelry firm where he became Vice President.  Joseph and his family summered in Sayville for many years and moved here permanently in 1944, living at 243 Handsome Avenue.  He died October 26, 1951 and is buried in St. Ann's Cemetery.
