The "Home of the Soul", 72 Macon Street, Sayville.
The Universal Peace Mission Movement is a nonsectarian, interracial church organization that works to end poverty and racial discrimination.  Its founder, Father Divine, was a charismatic African American religious leader and civil rights activist.  Father Divine lived in this home from 1919-1932.  During Father Divine's residency, chicken dinners were served every Sunday to all who came to the house and the line of people waiting to sit down with Father Divine often went down the block.  The home is now a shrine of the Universal Peace Mission Movement which still owns the property.
