This scene from the Open House celebrating the completion of the new library shows the circulation desk with its checkout station.  Across from the circulation desk is the card catalog for the adult collection.  Standing behind the desk is library clerk Doris Kennedy.  The doorway in the back left leads to the courtyard garden.  To the right of that is the entryway to the children's room.
