HALI is a leader in statewide mental health advocacy and remains the only peer-run mental health agency on Long Island. Their unique self-directed, peer-led services support people who want something that goes beyond the traditional behavioral health system.

HPRP assists families and individuals living in the Town of Islip who are either facing imminent risk of homelessness or are currently homeless. Services provided include help with rent and utility arrears, landlord-tenant negotiation, legal services, housing relocation assistance, ongoing case management and referral to additional community resources.

L.I. Against Domestic Violence assists and empowers victims of domestic violence on Long Island, and seeks to break the cycle of violence through education.

The Long Island Fatherhood Initiative (LIFI) is a community-level program of the Retreat Inc, a nonprofit organization that has offered shelter, counseling, advocacy, and supportive services to victims of domestic violence since 1987.

We offer many types of resources for individuals, as well as family members, impacted by problem gambling. Our services are confidential. We can help cover the cost of treatment, if needed.
