Library Information.
NOTE: The entrance to the library parking lot is off of Greeley Avenue in the rear of the building. The library shares a parking lot with the Sayville School District, please be respectful of our neighbors. Parking in the school lot between the hours of 6am and 4pm on school days is strictly prohibited.

Sunday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Our Mission Statement
The Sayville Library, as part of our community's educational system, is dedicated to providing, on equal terms, service to all individuals and groups of every age. The Library's primary function is to collect, classify and disseminate information. Our objective is to provide and service a collection of expertly selected books and other materials, which aid the individual in the pursuit of education, information or research, and in the creative use of leisure time.
A Brief History
The Sayville Library was established in 1914. It is situated in the quaint town of Sayville, Long Island. Sayville has been noted as the "Friendliest Town in America." The Sayville Library strives to provide the finest library service to its patrons. The library is located within walking distance from the Great South Bay. Programs with a wide diversity of activities are provided by the library for the community.

We recently became aware that an unauthorized third party breached a database that included some of your learning data, such as contact information and courses viewed. We are informing you of this issue out of an abundance of caution.
