The Community Outreach Department focuses on creating awareness of Library services to individuals and organizations in our town. We form strategic partnerships with local organizations that can increase the reach and visibility of both the Library and our partners. We conduct educational programs about library products and services as well as topics that affect our community. In particular, we seek to reach and improve the lives of underserved populations, educating them about community services and support that is available to everyone.

Grab & Go
Mission on the Move is our Grab & Go community service. Pick up on a Monday and return the following Monday. Complete at your own pace.
The Healthy Libraries Program (HeLP) consists of students who are currently training in the fields of social work, public health, library science, and nursing.
September 17, 2024 is National Voter Registration Day! Stop by and chat with the League of Women Voters about voter registration or any additional questions you may have!
Grades 6-12
Teen Central will be haunted October 16-19th! Help us plan this frightening event by brainstorming and creating spooky decorations. Then be a volunteer on the evenings of the event in a scary or non-scary way.
PSE&G Long Island will be here with information on programs to help lower costs of your home heating bill if you qualify. Stop by and speak with representatives about possible home heating assistance programs.
Caring for someone with Alzheimer's? Alzheimer's caregivers frequently experience high levels of stress and burden. Taking care of yourself is one of the most important things you can do as a caregiver.
