Come join us on a hike in Wildwood State Park led by Lee McAllister who is a naturalist, photographer and author of the book Hiking Long Island. We'll traverse the 120 foot high bluffs overlooking Long Island Sound while passing through a beautiful hardwood forest & then down to the beach. We'll also learn about the history of the park as well as the flora & fauna found here.
This is a moderately difficult hike with varied hilly terrain.
Meet at the main parking lot at 9:45am. The park is located at: 790 Hulse Landing Rd in Wading River.
