With just a few common household materials we will become scientists conducting an experiment called Homemade Ice Cream. We will be practicing early scientific processes of planning, observation, and investigation as we explore how a liquid becomes solid ice-cream! See below for the materials list. All registrants will be emailed a link to view recordings at the date and time of the program. 

Materials Needed

  • 1 cup of Half and Half - not fat free
  • 2 tbsp of Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups of Ice
  • 1/3 cup of Salt
  • 2 Ziploc bags
  • Optional: Ice Cream Toppings
